How do I cancel my order?

You may cancel your order at any time before you receive a shipping notification by emailing us at hello@rootedcompany.co . If we receive your email within this period, we will respond confirming the cancellation.

How do I return a product?

You may return a Product for any reason within 7 days of the date it was delivered to you, unless:

  • The Product page on the Platform explicitly says, “no returns”,
  • The product falls under our Beauty category,
  • It is used, washed, altered or damaged through wear and tear, or
  • You can’t return it to us in the original packaging with tags intact

These are the steps to return a Product:

  • Email hello@rootedcompany.co including your order number, the description and SKU of the item you are seeking to return (as provided in your invoice).
  • If your Product is eligible for return, we will confirm your return and make best efforts to pick up your Products within 7 days of confirming your return.
  • Returns within India:
  • Please have the Products ready in their original packaging with a completed Return of Materials form enclosed in the package.
  • As with delivery, our Partners will make up to 3 attempts to pick up the Products after which we will revoke your return, and you will need to re-start this process.
  • International returns:
  • The customer will be responsible for packaging and shipping the products back to us in it's original form
  • Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer

We recognize that you need the flexibility to return Products. However, if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you are returning an unreasonable number of purchases, we may restrict or refuse your access to Rooted Company.

Who pays for return shipping?

If your original delivery costs were waived, we’ll cover your return shipping fees as well. Otherwise, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Note that your refund will not include your original delivery fees.

Can I exchange my Products?

At this time, we don’t process exchanges. If you wish to get the same item in a different size or colour, go ahead and return your purchase and place a new order for the item you want.

How do I get my refund if I’ve cancelled or returned my purchase?

If we can accept your cancellation or refund request in accordance with these terms, we will initiate a refund request with the relevant Payment Processor within 15 days confirming your cancellation, or in case of a return, receiving the returned Products. Once we initiate the refund, the Payment Processor is responsible for refunding your payment to the credit or debit card or net banking account used to pay for the Products.

If you paid using e-wallet, we will refund the cost of your Product directly to your e-wallet.


How do I place an order?

We are currently only accepting orders through the Platform.

You can either sign in or complete your order as a guest. Signing in will enable the Platform to maintain your shipping and billing information for future orders.

After you select your items and check out you will be directed to a Payment Processor (either your debit or credit card, net banking, e-wallets or UPI) to complete your payment. We accept all major credit and debit cards, e.g. Visa, Mastercard, Amex. If you have any issues completing your order or paying for your Products, please contact us at hello@rootedcompany.co. You will receive an email confirmation of your order when it is completed and when it is shipped.

How will my purchases be delivered?

We will ship your Products to you using ShipRocket or a reliable courier.

We provide free delivery for orders shipping within India. For all other orders, the delivery charges are specified at checkout. Unless specified otherwise in the Product description, we will make best efforts to deliver your Products within 7 days of your order.

Our Delivery Partners will make up to 3 attempts to deliver your order, but if you’re unavailable each time, we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund you the cost of the Products minus any applicable return shipping fees.

How do I track my order?

You can track an order here, as long as you have the order number (available in your confirmation email) and the email address used to place the order.
